Welcome to JamXpress Portal. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the JamXpress Portal website, mobile application, and all courier, logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, and related services provided by JamXpress Portal (“JamXpress”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By creating an account, using our services, or accessing our website or mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Knutsford Express / Zipmail Forwarding
Business Support & Incubator Services

JamXpress reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

3. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS

Customers are required to create an account to access certain services.

Customers are responsible for:

Maintaining accurate account information
Securing their login credentials
Ensuring their customer number is used correctly
Providing accurate shipment and invoice information

JamXpress Portal is not responsible for delays, losses, or issues resulting from incorrect customer information submitted by the customer.

4. SHIPPING ADDRESS & CUSTOMER NUMBERS

Customers must ensure:

Their full name is entered correctly
Their assigned customer number is included on all packages
Shipment information is accurate and complete

Failure to include accurate information may result in:

Shipment delays
Additional processing time
Difficulty identifying packages
Incorrect delivery routing

JamXpress Portal shall not be held liable for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

5. PAYMENTS & FEES

Shipping charges become due once an invoice is generated and the customer’s package arrives at the warehouse or sorting facility.

Accepted payment methods include:

Cash on Delivery (COD)
Bank Transfer
POS Payments

Purchase assistance services may require deposits prior to item purchases.

Shipping rates and fees are subject to change at any time. JamXpress Portal will make reasonable efforts to communicate rate changes in advance.

Additional customs duties, government charges, airline surcharges, or third-party fees may result in increased shipping costs.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless otherwise determined solely by JamXpress management.

6. PACKAGE CONSOLIDATION

Customers may request package consolidation where applicable. Consolidation requests are subject to package size, timing, and operational limitations.

JamXpress Portal reserves the right to refuse consolidation requests where operationally impractical.

7. DELIVERY SERVICES

JamXpress Portal currently facilitates deliveries on:

Tuesdays
Thursdays
Saturdays

Operating delivery hours are generally between:
7:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Delivery schedules may be affected by:

Customs processing
Airline delays
Weather conditions
National emergencies
Third-party courier disruptions
Operational constraints

JamXpress Portal is not liable for delays caused by third parties including airlines, shipping carriers, customs authorities, or external logistics providers.

8. CUSTOMS & GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES

JamXpress Portal is not affiliated with the Jamaica Customs Agency or any government authority.

Customers are responsible for:

Providing invoices when requested
Providing accurate declarations
Paying applicable duties, taxes, and customs-related charges

JamXpress may assist in preparing customs-related documentation; however, final customs assessments and decisions remain solely under the authority of the Jamaica Customs Agency.

Failure to provide requested documents may result in:

Delays
Additional charges
Shipment detention
Shipment seizure by authorities

9. PROHIBITED & RESTRICTED ITEMS

Customers may not ship prohibited or illegal items through JamXpress Portal.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

Illegal narcotics and controlled substances
Obscene or offensive materials
Counterfeit goods
Unauthorized replicas
Illegal publications prohibited under Jamaican law

Restricted items requiring permits or authorization may include:

Firearms and ammunition
Tactical equipment
Camouflage items
Certain electronics
Agricultural products
Laser devices
High-powered motorcycles
Security-related equipment

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring their shipments comply with Jamaican laws and import regulations.

JamXpress Portal reserves the right to refuse any shipment at its discretion.

10. DAMAGES, LOSS & COMPENSATION

JamXpress Portal will investigate claims relating to damaged packages.

If it is determined solely by JamXpress management that damage occurred directly due to negligence within a JamXpress warehouse or sorting facility, compensation may be issued.

Compensation is limited to:

Customer account credits only

JamXpress Portal does not provide cash refunds for damaged packages.

JamXpress Portal is not liable for:

Manufacturer defects
Supplier errors
Packaging issues originating from sellers
Airline damage
Customs inspections
Third-party handling

Customers are encouraged to properly package fragile items.

11. PURCHASE ASSISTANCE SERVICES

JamXpress Portal may assist customers with overseas purchases and supplier sourcing.

Customers acknowledge that:

Product quality is controlled by the supplier or seller
Product availability may change
Prices and exchange rates may fluctuate
Shipping timelines may vary

JamXpress Portal does not guarantee:

Supplier performance
Product quality
Business profitability
Supplier legitimacy beyond reasonable due diligence

Customers remain responsible for final purchase decisions.

12. BUSINESS INCUBATOR & CONSULTATION SERVICES

Any business advice, supplier recommendations, sourcing assistance, or incubator-related support provided by JamXpress Portal is informational in nature only.

JamXpress Portal does not guarantee:

Business success
Supplier outcomes
Product performance
Profitability

Customers assume all risks associated with their business decisions.

13. REFUNDS & CLAIMS

Shipping fees are generally non-refundable.

Claims relating to shipments must be reviewed and approved solely by JamXpress management.

Final decisions regarding:

disputes
compensation
shipment claims
customer credits

shall remain solely at the discretion of JamXpress Portal management.

14. UNPAID & ABANDONED PACKAGES

Unpaid package balances may roll over to future shipments or invoices.

Packages remaining unclaimed or unpaid for more than thirty (30) days may be considered abandoned.

JamXpress Portal reserves the right to:

open abandoned packages
dispose of contents
auction contents
recover outstanding operational costs

without further liability to the customer.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JamXpress Portal shall not be liable for:

indirect damages
lost profits
delayed shipments
customs-related losses
third-party carrier issues
supplier-related issues
government seizures
force majeure events

JamXpress Portal’s maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid directly to JamXpress for the applicable shipment.

16. FORCE MAJEURE

JamXpress Portal shall not be held liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control including:

hurricanes
floods
natural disasters
airline disruptions
customs shutdowns
strikes
pandemics
civil unrest
government actions
system failures

17. PRIVACY

Customer information is handled in accordance with the JamXpress Portal Privacy Policy.

By using our services, customers consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

18. TERMINATION OF SERVICE

JamXpress Portal reserves the right to suspend or terminate customer accounts at its discretion for:

fraudulent activity
abusive behavior
suspicious shipments
violations of these Terms
illegal activities

19. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.

Any disputes arising from the use of JamXpress Portal services shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Jamaican courts.

20. CHANGES TO TERMS

JamXpress Portal reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be posted on our website and mobile application.

Continued use of the services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
